Everything in your digest is public record, published by the government that produced it. This page is both our privacy policy and the list of every source we read — what we take in, what we keep about you, and who else sees it.
We read these directly. We don't buy data, and we don't take it from aggregators — each link below is the same public source you could read yourself.

Your email and home address never go into an AI model.
The explanations in your digest are written by Claude, but what it receives is the public document plus a short profile: your ward or district, housing situation, how you get around, income band, whether you have children, and the topics you picked. It never receives your email address or your street address — and we never ask for your name at all.

We do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
Each digest contains a small invisible image. When your mail app loads it, we record that the message was opened. We use this to notice deliverability problems — if opens fall off a cliff, our mail is probably landing in spam.
We're careful not to read more into it than it can bear. Apple Mail loads images automatically on delivery whether or not you look, and some apps block images entirely, so the number is wrong in both directions at once. We keep those cases separate and never report the total as "how many people read it."
Your information is held in a hosted database with encryption in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to the accounts that run MyBloc. We keep it for as long as you're subscribed, and delete it on request.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't share it with anyone for marketing. The services listed above receive only what they need to do their job.
Subscribing means agreeing to receive the weekly digest, plus the occasional one-off alert when something genuinely time-sensitive happens in your area — a marathon closing your street, an emergency notice. Nothing else. Every message has an unsubscribe link that works immediately and permanently.

Government records are sometimes wrong, and our reading of them sometimes is too. If a digest says something inaccurate about your neighbourhood, tell us at info@depopulus.com — we'd rather know.
We'll update this page when we add a city, add a source, or change what we collect. If a change materially affects your information, we'll tell you by email rather than quietly editing the page.
